The Brittany is a staunch little pointing dog. They love their humans and are great family dogs. They are athletic and energetic and require quality dog food, regular exercise and lots of love to be healthy and happy. As with most breeds, Basic and Intermediate Obedience classes are recommended. This breed excels in Field, Show and Agility and so much more. The Brittany is the smallest of the pointing breeds, but is probably the most agile and competes successfully with the larger and longer legged pointing breeds such as Setters and Pointers. The Brittany has many more Dual Champions [show and field championship titles earned] than any other pointing breed. Our breed is extremely intelligent, fun loving and hard working - an incredible combination.
